BMW 635 CSi MARLBORO 1983 GIAU MACAU HAN STUCK

Merry  New Year.

Another 635, this one hit the streets of Macau with real conviction and ended up as a winner in the hands of Han Stuck in 1983. Built from plastic Heller which has glaring limitations. This however has been mitigated by additional parts from Starter and other kits and it turned out not that bad at all.

BMW 528i GITANES JARRIER TRINTIGNANT TASSIN 1982 ETCC ROUND 9 SPA 24 HOURS

The 2nd place car, crossed the finish line 3 laps behind 528i Juma Bastos #3. Driven by Jean-Pierre Jarrier, Jean-Loius Trignant and Thierry Tassin. Funny that Faster43 decal places France flag next to Tassin's name. I reserve all the rights of first pix to its rightful owner with thanks.

BMW 318 iS FINA BASTOS 1994 SPA 24 HOURS MARTIN SLAUS HEGER

In 1994 Spa, 318 iS Bastos clean swept the top four. This one steered by Jean-Michel Martin, Patrick Slaus and Altfrid Heger to finish 3rd, after starting 4th on the grid.

When it comes to Rally El Corte Ingles, it never fail to showcase some of the best dressed rally car in the world. This is a classic one, the same M3 regularly used by Ponce, but always in different theme every year. I think my windshield is a total disaster though.

BMW M3 ROTHMANS BEGUIN LENNE 1987 TOUR DE CORSE

Hard to believe M3 E30 was the first car ever tuned by Prodrive, the same Prodrive made famous by Subarus. With BMW concentrated much on touring, Prodrive under Dave Richard basically was a privateer. But winning a WRC event in Corsica in the hands of Bernard Beguin and Jean-Jacques Lenne was a hint of what more to come for Prodrive.

BMW M3 MARLBORO 1992 DTM COR EUSER

The mighty M3, as raced by Cornelius Euser in 1992 DTM. Won the Dutch Touring Car the year before. His car left a lasting impression on Marlboro scheme.
