This is really a blank car without any rally plate.

I guess we can call it a presentation version.

He ended up as Belgium Rally Champions in 1999.

It run with Renault in place of Bastos marking in tobacco-free rallies like Wallonie, Ypres and Condroz.

He won Rally Luxemborg, 25^th,. April, 1999

Finished 16^th. In Rallye Acropolis

Forced to retire in San Remo.

After successful run in 1994 Aprimatic outfit, Thiry picked up where he left off. Always competitive but never really get that extra edge to win it outright in 1995.
This car ran in RAS008 instead of BASTOS in rallies where exposure to tobacco marketing is not favored.

In 1994 Spa, 318 iS Bastos clean swept the top four. This one steered by Jean-Michel Martin, Patrick Slaus and Altfrid Heger to finish 3rd, after starting 4th on the grid.

One last Cosworth RS driven by Patrick Snijers as new Escort WRC was introduced in the same year. Almost identical with the car in 1996 season except for its wheels. For that, I have to sacrify another model for just being a donor to the wheels.

Really I can't never get enough of Bastos cars. Bastos makes the car look racy and fast, even it is stationary. This one is as raced by Bruno Thiry and Jean-Marc Fortin in the 2003 Barum Zlin Rally. The car is retired due to engine problem but not before putting a good fight to the eventual winner, Pech Jun and Petr Uhel

One of my fav, basic model is a dull High Speed, but well improvised. thanks to the ever reliable Racing 43 decal. Great livery, vivid and of course, bears that distinctive Belgium cigarette marking. A bit hard to do, but always manageable, with a little bit of modification, noticably to the wheels, it turns out in close resemblance to the real one.
