MICHAEL SCHUMACHER'S OTHER NOTABLE (FICTIONAL) RIDES #3 JORDAN 191 FORD RS200

Haven't been too active recently.
I just slipped into fiction and get this materialized.

Never thought it could come out this good.

And I think it is a truly limited edition, 1 of 1.

FORD ESCORT RS COSWORTH BASTOS SNIJERS COLEBUNDERS 1996 RALLY MADEIRA

37th Rali Vinho da Madeira, the Round 30 of the 1996 FIA European Rally Championship.
Rated with Coefficient 20.

The winner was the local favorite, Fernando Peres / Ricardo Caldeira in Ford Escort RS Cosworth
 Totta.

Patrick Snijers and Colebunders in Bastos Ford Rally team were fourth, 51 seconds behind.

I really had a hardtime to fix the decal nicely to that curvy rear bumper.

FORD ESCORT RS COSWORTH 7UP CAMEL 1993 EL CORTE INGLES JOSE MARI PONCE

LPU 772, one of the earliest RS Cosworth that has been prepared by Belgian RAS Sports.

Intriguing livery which has been a perfect fit on Escort, as good as, if not better than those been conceptualized on M3 before.

The race was won by Gustavo Trelles in Charro Delta HF Integral though.

Reconstructed from IXO with decal from Spain, where else it could possibly be.

Photos don’t really do justice. My camera is an outlaw. Poor thing.

Couldn't believe it is already about 2 months into 2012. Football makes me forget all other things. More true if your team is winning big.

MUSTANG COBRA II ROUSH RACING MARLBORO 1995 DAYTONA

It has been awhile.

It’s a case of work too much and play as much.

Seldom we see anything like this American muscle plying its trade on the other side of Atlantic. I was happy to help my friend in Hong Kong to realize such a rare model.

This car finished fifth in GTS-1 Class and 16th. overall.

Prepared and tuned by Roush Racing team.

However, it was somewhat overshadowed by the class winner, Mustang Cobra’s Nobody’s Fool. Yes you guessed it, co-driven by its leading actor, Paul Newman.

The car 65 is a complete Puerto Rican team. It was officially driven by Wally Castro, Axel Rivera and Rolando Falgueras. Manolo Vila and Biagio Parisal were also listed to run.

Let’s have another look on Puerto Rico, or specifically San Juan.
Couldn’t be complete without mentioning about the recently completed Puerto Rico Tip-Off Classic.

Bama emerged a worthy winner. Despite two recent losses, they can be good, who knows if they can even emulate their cousins' second chance story on the gridiron.

FORD ESCORT RS1800 MKII BELGA 1981 RALLYE HASPENGOUW DROOGMANS

I got few emails asking for more on conversion-made-easy.
For now, let's start with something simple.

Some pointers to convert the Escort RS1800 into the one that been driven by Droogmans in 1981 Rallye Haspengouw. The conversion is done based on Reji's 1981 Rallye Skoda decal, which to me is the more common in the market.

Of course you need to have two things first. A base car and that decal

Here are some reference photos

Best of luck

FORD ESCORT RS COSWORTH RAS SPORT APRIMATIC BASTOS 1995 RALLY PORTUGAL BRUNO THIRY

After successful run in 1994 Aprimatic outfit, Thiry picked up where he left off. Always competitive but never really get that extra edge to win it outright in 1995.
This car ran in RAS008 instead of BASTOS in rallies where exposure to tobacco marketing is not favored.

FORD ESCORT RS COSWORTH CAMEL 1996 EL CORTE INGLES ENRICO BERTONE

This particular car practically spurs me to get my hands on model making. Used to get the same exact decal and put it on a Burago. I was shocked that a friend made an offer to keep it. Now what we have here, great same livery on an IXO with proper Cromodoro wheels.
I believe Bertone managed to get on podium in this particular year, after having won it all out before

FORD FOCUS WRC MARLBORO MOBIL 1 J KULIG J BARAN 2000 RALLY SAN REMO

The late Janusz Kulig, to me was the best Polish racer, oh well maybe before Rober Kubica came into picture. Made a breakthrough into WRC scene in 2000 in Escort WRC then in this Focus Evo1. Won his first WRC event in 2003 but I think was later stripped due to some irregularities in his Mitsubishi Evo VII.

FORD ESCORT COSWORTH RS BASTOS PATRICK SNIJERS DANNY COLEBUNDERS 1997 BOUCLES DE SPA

One last Cosworth RS driven by Patrick Snijers as new Escort WRC was introduced in the same year. Almost identical with the car in 1996 season except for its wheels. For that, I have to sacrify another model for just being a donor to the wheels.
