The late Janusz Kulig, to me was the best Polish racer, oh well maybe before Rober Kubica came into picture. Made a breakthrough into WRC scene in 2000 in Escort WRC then in this Focus Evo1. Won his first WRC event in 2003 but I think was later stripped due to some irregularities in his Mitsubishi Evo VII.

In 1994 Spa, 318 iS Bastos clean swept the top four. This one steered by Jean-Michel Martin, Patrick Slaus and Altfrid Heger to finish 3rd, after starting 4th on the grid.

One last Cosworth RS driven by Patrick Snijers as new Escort WRC was introduced in the same year. Almost identical with the car in 1996 season except for its wheels. For that, I have to sacrify another model for just being a donor to the wheels.

Hard to believe M3 E30 was the first car ever tuned by Prodrive, the same Prodrive made famous by Subarus. With BMW concentrated much on touring, Prodrive under Dave Richard basically was a privateer. But winning a WRC event in Corsica in the hands of Bernard Beguin and Jean-Jacques Lenne was a hint of what more to come for Prodrive.

1996, the year A4 took the world by surprise. And this one is something else as it came from the other corner of the world. Terry Moss, no relation with Stirling Moss, dominated throughout the season, earning him invitations to drive in 24hrs Spa and other races in Europe.
The Rothmans paint scheme is excellent as always. This model is of High Speed origin and doesn't look like one, only much better.
Really I can't never get enough of Bastos cars. Bastos makes the car look racy and fast, even it is stationary. This one is as raced by Bruno Thiry and Jean-Marc Fortin in the 2003 Barum Zlin Rally. The car is retired due to engine problem but not before putting a good fight to the eventual winner, Pech Jun and Petr Uhel
