Hard to believe M3 E30 was the first car ever tuned by Prodrive, the same Prodrive made famous by Subarus. With BMW concentrated much on touring, Prodrive under Dave Richard basically was a privateer. But winning a WRC event in Corsica in the hands of Bernard Beguin and Jean-Jacques Lenne was a hint of what more to come for Prodrive.
