In 1997, Krzysztof
Holowczyc and his long time co-pilot Maciej
Wislawski won 1997 European Championship
title.
The break out year
that everyone in rally fraternity realized he got what it takes to get to the
next level, WRC.
He took it all
in Albena,
Elpa Halkidikis and Cyprus.
He was on
podium in Deutchland and Poland.
Equally fast,
but unlucky to some extents, in El Corte Ingles and Piancavallo.
This is 1997 Rajd
Polski version where he finished 3rd.
Fought tooth
and nail with his fellow compatriot Janusz Kulig.
The
rally went to Snijers in Escort WRC Bastos.
