The late Janusz Kulig, to me was the best Polish racer, oh well maybe before Rober Kubica came into picture. Made a breakthrough into WRC scene in 2000 in Escort WRC then in this Focus Evo1. Won his first WRC event in 2003 but I think was later stripped due to some irregularities in his Mitsubishi Evo VII.

ReplyDeleteRosslann I can't find any words to say, how uniqe model You got there. Once I have seen this car in real. In my country, every fan of motorsport misses Janusz Kulig. He was died tragically in rail crossing. It's amazing that several years before fatal Kilig's crash, died Marian Bublewicz - also in Ford (but Sierra) and also in Marlboro paint. I think he was more famous than Kulig, but both of them are very important for our nation motorsports. Beauty miniature Rosllann. You will not believe, but is practically unattainable here in Poland. ReplyDeleteMarcjan, yeah such an instrumental model. Yeah Kulig is irreplaceable, but there are fast drivers like Hołowczyc etc, which makes Poland never short of talent. Speaking of which, Lato and Boniek rules the field too , I'm talking about World Cup those days...:-)
