FERRARI 412 T2 FIRST TEST ESTORIL 1995

Place: Estoril Circuit, Portugal

Michael's first ride in Ferrari

 

Really I didn’t wait too long to get this piece completed.

Not much different from Alesi version at one glance.

However, so much tedious works needed to get where we are now.

 

 

Schumacher helmet replaces Alesi’s.

Car number has been removed.

Marlboro markings are added.

 

Small humps are added on the nose and to the side of air intake.

 

Front antenna is relocated, while longer side antenna is created.

So very hard to finish off this work, with all the distractions in Circuit de Catalunya and at the Etihad.

Pastor Maldonado literally set Williams on fire. Then, Kun Aguero made half of Manchester blue, while the other half seeing red. Unbelievable.

1995 FERRARI 412 T2 JEAN ALESI

Alesi had his only GP win in this car.

Right on his 31^st. birthday, after so many misses and misfortunes, he finally nailed in 1995 Canadian GP.

Alesi started his F1 career in 1989 with a bang.

In his debut race with Tyrrell, he just missed a podium after starting 16^th on the grid.

A year later, he was even closer to the checkered flag. In Phoenix, he led the race at one point, went wheels to wheels with Senna before conceding the race to him at the end. In Monte Carlo, again Senna got the best of him again.

Let's keep Alesi glory last over here.

I plan to covert this car into Schumacher’s first Ferrari ride, the test drive in Estoril on 8th. of November 1995

FERRARI F2005 MICHAEL SCHUMACHER

I'm shutting down the other blog, Formula One Diecasts.

So this is the one I salvage from there.

I have experimented F2005 before, so I do it again for a super friend in Germany.

After complete dismantling, removing decals, repainting and reassembling, it feels good to put the three Ferrari emblems back.

I like the contrast between Schumacher's fiery red helmet and flat black chassis.

FERRARI F-2002 MARLBORO MICHAEL SCHUMACHER 2002 CANADIAN GP

One of many Hot Wheels Schumacher models that I have, this one is little different. I got his arm raised out of cockpit. The win in Canada was Ferrari's 150th. GP win. Then with aftermarket Marlboro decal, I am happy to have had this F2002 Canadian GP win to my collection
